Sandy Baker
Director
Originally from Aberdeen, Sandy headed for the bright lights of London in 1968, where he worked for the Home Office. Later the same year, he embarked on his financial services career with Scottish Widows. In 1971, Sandy became a co-founder member of Hambro Life, later to become Allied Dunbar, now branded as Prudential. There, he was responsible for the management of the sales team whom he nurtured for many years to come.
His career then took an independent turn, with him becoming an Independent Financial Adviser in 1982, a role that has remained with him ever since. With over 45 years of personal experience in financial services, Sandy is well positioned to offer advice on a plethora of finance-orientated subject matters, including wealth management, tax matters and pension transfers, including those related to defined benefit (‘DB’) pensions, for which he is one of a few advisers authorised by the FCA.
Living and working in Wolverhampton during all of this time, Sandy enjoys most sports and has a very keen interest in football (season ticket holder at West Bromwich Albion), as well as both greyhound and horse racing. He is a family man and is still close to his brother, Norman Baker, the former Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Minister for the Department of Transport.

Fiona McCaig
Director
Like Sandy, Fiona possesses a wealth of knowledge in the Financial Services sector, beginning her career in 1985 with Albany Life (now part of Canada Life) where she ‘cut her teeth’ in direct sales. With her involvement in the business beginning in 1989, Fiona is an Independent Financial Adviser but is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, as well as fulfilling a role in Compliance.
Fiona maintains a healthy lifestyle, attending the gym regularly and swimming with her daughter. She has travelled to many places worldwide and is an accomplished skier.
