Phil Penrose of MitonOptimal was a guest of Hansard International and Austen Morris Associates, in Manila, at their Private Client Wine Dinner on the 16th of September, 2015. The topic of the evening’s seminar was UK Value & Why the Future is Small. The host of the evening was Simon Murray, Account Executive from Hansard International and the speaker of the evening was Philip Penrose, who discussed how investors all over the world seek to mitigate downside risk while simultaneously generating growth. He explained how investing in a carefully targeted blend of UK value & UK smaller company stocks provides an attractive solution as well as explained why we believe they are at the beginning of multi-year period of small company outperformance.
The guests included some of Manila’s most interesting and influential investors, all of whom enjoyed the opportunity to have a beautiful and memorable evening with great company.
