Founded in 2002, MitonOptimal is a private company owned by its management and directors. As an owner managed Multi Asset Management business, we believe the objectives and priorities of clients, staff and shareholders and much more closely aligned in a partnership model.
MitonOptimal is a performance focused investment management team that strives to achieve strength through diversity in all its portfolios and business model.
We do one thing and one thing only – Global Multi Asset Management. We do not have the conflicts of interest of much larger institutions, yet we have achieved the critical mass of funds under management to ensure the economies of scale required in this industry.
Our investment philosophy is unashamedly simple, “diversification through unconstrained global asset allocation within an absolute mindset”. All forms of strategic and tactical Asset Allocation are vital to the success of any Multi Asset Management portfolio and our process is well documented.
We have a range of collective investment schemes (unit trusts) and segregated mandates that cater for a range of discerning private clients, independent financial advisers, family offices and institutional clients around the globe.

He gave us his expert opinion on what is really going on in China today. His insights were very interesting, the most important of which was the biases that investors have when it comes to analyzing China.
